I decided to "choose life on a two-lane road" on Orcas Island in 1989 and quickly became part of the rich community life through community theater, the Friends of the Library Board, and becoming a Fire Commissioner for our wonderful volunteer department.

As a licensed Washington Associate Broker, I have been honored by Coldwell Banker International in their national awards presentations and as a member of the Coldwell Banker's International President's Elite, the highest honor that can be attained in the corporation, placing me in the top 2% of the 70,000 who are affiliated with the company, a first for Coldwell Banker Orcas Island.

Anna Roseberry

Anna Roseberry has a very unique connection to Orcas Island. Her parents moved to the islands in the 1970's and brought her home to the island three days after she was born. She participated in many community projects as she grew up, plays at the Orcas Grange Hall with David York, the opening of the then new Orcas Center as well as organized sports like softball and soccer. Through high school she was known for her many community oriented activities as well as an excellent communicator who helped organize a foreign exchange for OHS with her Puerto Rican school while on foreign exchange there. Her need to be proactive in her community inspired her to become fluent in Spanish which she saw a great need developing during her high school years (1994-1999).

She attended Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio from 1999 to 2003 where she graduated with her BA in Spanish Language & Literature and Sociology. Upon her graduation she returned to Orcas Island and began working in restaurants where her linguistic skills could be utilized. In Fall of 2004 she became a Spanish Instructor for the Orcas Christian School. She shortly afterward became Office Manager for another real estate company on Orcas where she acquired the experience necessary for her transition to Coldwell Banker.

In October of 2006 she joined our office as Office Manager and received her real estate license in January of 2007. Her Spanish skills are very helpful to our community in that she volunteers time with the Sheriff's Dept, the Pharmacy, and Medical Center when they are in need of translation. Her background in customer service has shown her the value of a positive attitude and having a plan for achieving goals. She looks forward to helping the Coldwell Banker team provide the very best customer service to all of its clients. Anna's 21 years of experience in the community and love for Orcas Island are a wonderful addition to our office.

Jeff Miles

Jeff and wife Margi moved to Orcas in 2006. After years visiting Margi's parents on the island, experiencing "The Orcas Mystique", with it's alluring call they decided to spend the balance of their life here. For years he has anticipated this move and envisioned himself as a Realtor walking the streets of Orcas at 75 years old. Well, he's begun his journey, joining Coldwell Banker Orcas Island on February 17, 2007. Having bought and sold real estate in California and Washington he truly enjoys architecture, real estate investing, and the process of buying and selling property. He looks forward to building his business with the highest standards of customer service.

As a sales person, trainer, and manager of people over the years, he has learned that ones ability to be present, in the moment, at peace with another is the foundation of an open, honest and caring agent/client relationship. When looking or buying we, as clients, do not want to be "sold"! We want to be listened to, understood and given the necessary information needed to make the best decision when we decide it is time. Whether it's a waterfront or view home for retirement, permanent residence, vacation or income property; land on which to build your cottage by the sea; or a real estate investment; he can help you find it through his knowledge of and access to all local listings.

Jeff was born in the center of California's central valley, Madera. He attended California State University at Fresno and received a BA degree in Communication/Psychology. He then received his Masters degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. He left New Jersey to practice ministry back in California's Bay Area. He practiced for some time, and then changed careers to Electronic Sales with "The Good Guys!" where he became the General Sales Manager. After several years with the company he left to create and manage his own consulting firm, focusing on Sales/Management trainings, seminars and strategic planning. Finally, he moved on to Lexus Automobiles where he has worked for the last 16 years in sales and management.

Becky Belding

I first came to the San Juans years ago, as a vacationer and boater. The more I explored this wonderful area, the more I knew in my heart that one day Orcas would be my home. This is wonderful place and I am grateful to be living and working here. Most of all, I feel great pride and respect in our Island community.

I bring to Coldwell Island 19 years of experience in all aspects of residential real estate, and am licensed both in both Washington and Oregon. It is my belief that the key to a successful and satisfying client relationship is one built on respect, trust and communication. I am committed to my clients, and to providing them my services at the highest levels of professionalism, with enthusiasm and dedication. I love my work, and get great satisfaction helping clients achieve their goals. Having lived in many places across the country, I intimately understand the process of relocation as well as the diversity of my clients needs in buying and selling real estate.

In my spare time, I love exploring the Islands, boating, camping, and hiking Turtleback Mt with my two Golden Retrievers. I have a strong background in the healing arts, yoga and am a LMT.

Victoria Shaner

I have had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know a lot of you through my association with Islander's Bank and my husband, Bathan Shaner, an Orcas Island native. I have really enjoyed being an Orcas Island resident for the past four years. Orcas reminds me of the small town atmosphere in which I was raised in Newbern, Tennessee.

I worked at Islanders Bank for four years until I decided to make a recent career move. I have admired my Mother's passion and success in her real estate career and have decided this would be a great opportunity for me as well.

My decision for such a big change is greatly based on my belief that real estate will challenge me to new heights. It will allow me more opportunity to work more closely with my clients and provide the service they deserve in one of the biggest financial decisions they will ever make in their lives.
